REGARDING SHIPMENTS​

(I would normally put this note at the end, but I’m not sure it would be read.)

If you want top-notch customer service, think twice before hitting “send” on an unfriendly email.  I’m 70 years old and I love helping people and fixing problems.  But starting a message with “I’m so disappointed…” isn’t the best way to inspire someone to go above and beyond.  A little kindness goes a long way.  Be nice—don’t be a picklehead.

Week of March  9, 2026​

We definitely will be shipping out all week from Colorado, but we will be looking closely at the destination temperatures.

​

UPS often parks their trailers outside during transit, and unfortunately this is when bottles can freeze. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but there is little we can do to control those conditions—short of somehow putting a space heater in the box.

 

If possible, please consider preparing the dry herbs yourself for the next couple of months during the coldest weather.

 

There are three main reasons we sometimes delay shipping during freezing temperatures:

1. I use only glass bottles.

2. The tea contains no preservatives.

3. Even with heat packs and protective layering, if the liquid freezes solid the bottle can break when it thaws.

 

I will stay in touch with you throughout the process. If you do not hear from me, that is actually a good sign—it means your package was shipped within two business days of your order.

 

Once your order ships, please monitor the tracking so the package does not sit outside and freeze on your doorstep.

 

We do our best to time shipments carefully and include a heat pack. However, if the box appears to be leaking or if you hear glass moving when you gently shake it, please contact me before opening it. I want to make sure you stay safe and avoid any risk of injury.
